The Farm This is a working farm with their main enterprise being 1000 breeding ewes - a visit in the lambing season is a real joy especially for the children. We also farm wheat, barley and beans and for the Christmas market free range Bronze Turkeys. During the game season we have a ready supply of local game, oven ready for you to take home for the freezer, or perhaps some freshly laid free range eggs?
Further afield This ideal walking country and the Sustran cycle route passes just minutes from us. We have a selection of local guide books, walking books maps available for you to plan your day out, in addition of course, to our local knowledge. |
Around the Farm
As well as our own pets and farm animals you are likely to see a wide range of birds - Buzzards, Sparrow Hawks and we have a family of Little Owls living in the orchard. Plus some of the natural wildlife in the area and around the fields.
